Today I learned the story of Smokey the bear he was a little bear cub when the biggest forest fire in the country had happened in 1950 all because one person just one person had threw a cigarette that wasn’t all the way burned out and started the fire, not to mention the fire had started in the SUMMER!! So all the wind the blew made the fire bigger and made it move more quickly. As soon as the commander in that had lived in the house near the forest saw the fire he quickly called his a men to go put it out but the fire was to strong they needed back up, more people had come to the scene till there was 24 men on the scene trying to but out the fire but then another big gust of wind blew. When the wind blew the fire got too big and the men were almost scorched but they claimed a rock and hid until the fire and smoke had stopped on its own. After they had…………SURVIVED, but the men then saw a small bear cub hanging on for his life on a tree bark , the bear cub was then picked up and taken to the vet and bandaged up he was treated and got better , he was then given the named Smokey…. Smokey the bear . He was then made famous and was in posters and on tv to show and raise awareness of stopping forest fires…… And that is the story of Smokey the bear. 

 

It is Important that we save the trees. Trees come in all shapes and sizes and if we keep harming the trees we might never see them. here are some fun facts about trees you probably didn tknow about i hope these make you want to save the trees

I have adopted a tree and its very beautiful, It has long branches but its bark isn’t solid. It has strands that connect to the branches and it looks like this:

  

It’s very pretty though. Also we have been reading this book called the Wishtree and I thought it was interesting how trees got their names and their meaning, so here is my name and meaning and how I got it.  First my name is Chaniya. It’s an alternate spelling of Hania wich is a Hebrew/Arabic word that means “ a place to rest or happy” 

How I got my name is a funny story actually. My name was going to be Shaniya but my mom and dad wanted it to be unique, so they got my grandma’s help. My grandma’s name is spelled with a C instead of an S and my mom’s name is spelled with a C instead of a K. My other grandma’s name is spelled with a C instead of a K to so my mom and my dad and my grandmas decided to change the spelling of my name and spell it with a C instead of an S. That’s how I got my name. Speaking of names I have named my tree and the animal oh here is a picture of my animal.

 

The animal’s name is SQUeryl and the tree’s name is ABARKia. While we were reading the Wishtree we learned about optimistic and pessimistic people. An optimistic person always thinks on the bright side and believes things will get better and a pessimistic person believes that nothing will ever get better and always thinks of the worst things that could happen in a situation . I think I am a little bit of both since it all depends on the situation I am in , like if I studied for a test and I knew about it ahead of time then i will be optimistic and believe I will pass, but if I didn’t know about the test and missed my study session, then I would be pessimistic and think that I am not going to do good on the test. I think I am both all depending on the situation I am in. 

 

Hey everyone I’m back , today I like to write about my new finger print project .
1. Did you know that  some people are born with our finger prints?!? Scientists believe that they have genetic issues that prevent them form having finger prints. Imagine how good of a thief they would be with no finger print for police to track them with.

2. Did you know that you can actual loose your finger prints?!?. If you consume the wrong substances not good for your body or burn you finger really badly you can actually either burn off your finger print or melt of your finger print.

3. Did you know that pets have finger prints to ?!?. Turns out just like people animals also have finger prints and a fingerprint scanner can work on them it has been proved a fingerprint scanner can work for a cat 🐈‍⬛.

4.  Did you know that no two people can have the same fingerprints it has been proven by scientists that no two people can have the same finger print even though they may have the same type they will look different .

5.  Did you know that a plain arch finger print is the most rarest type of fingerprint?!?!. I know it sounds hard to believe because it has plain in its name but it’s one of the most rarest fingerprint types of them all and believe it or not I have a plain arch fingerprint on my thumb.

6. Did you know that  the name for studying  fingerprints is called Dactyloscopy.

7. Did you know that identical twins have different fingerprints if two twins wear the same thing look the same and sound the same the only way to tell them apart is there fingerprint.

We are playing this game because we all want to win it and it helps us learn about stock marketing. We are also reading this story called the westing game and my addiction to win this stock market contest is just like one of my favorite characters turtle she is addicted to winning the westing game. We each had to make a company and my company is called Kitty doughnuts here is my logo

I had to invest in stocks for my company the first stock I invested in is Starbucks I invested in this company because it didn’t cost a lot of money and people can get free cat/kawwi toppings on there frapacino I invested in petco because people can get kittens when they come in to buy other things. I then invested in do all at tree for some cheap things to sell in my businesses  finally I invested in Walmart to provided food in my company as well
